My strongest interest and passion in photography is not the nude, but portraiture. I have heard humorous rumors that some people think they cannot get into my studio with clothes on. Not so! The personality is what I find most rewarding to capture. The complexities of human nature, how people perceive themselves and how they wish to be perceived, are far too much of an interesting experience to not devote my strongest focus.

All of the technique you see in my images, all the discipline, all of the implied hard work, is in the service of art. In portraiture, art is what makes the difference between a photographic image and a true portrait. My favourite subjects to capture are also artists.
