I care about the art in our lives, in food, in love, in friendship and for almost thirty years, the art of photography has been my passion, my life and my living. Through this, my life has become stranger than fiction.

The images you see in this website represent many years of expressing my vision of the nude. I express what I feel is beautiful in the form and in the person. Even if the image is abstract, the composition implies the body language of the particular model. They each have their personal way in their grace. What works for one model, doesn't necessarily work for another. Many of my images are photographed with large format infra-red film and are pre-visualized through drawings and sketches. It's not a position, it's an expression. Some of the images are more spontaneous and I just create my composition of what the model is doing.

I've had viewers, interviewers and art reviewers alike ask me, “What is the meaning in this or that image? What are you trying to say to the viewer?” I don't believe in superficial and esoteric explanations of what I do. I have simply captured the beauty that I see and expressed it in the way that I see. There are no hidden meanings. If someone looks for a Freudian reason to explain my images, they have missed the beauty. They have missed the whole meaning, which is as simple as Zen. The good of contemplation IS contemplation – not some result that it may bring. If one extends too much effort into why life is, one misses the living of it.
